This includes accidents ranging from something as small as a spilt drink over a piece of equipment, to serious bodily injury. Professional liability insurance covers legal and compensation costs that arise from claims made against a professional for alleged negligence, errors, or omissions in the course of their work. This may include claims for financial loss, damage to reputation, or breach of confidentiality.

If you provide advice to your clients, you may need professional indemnity insurance. . Remember to ensure that you are covered sufficiently.

If you work from home, you also may need home business insurance.

We can cover therapists across a wide range of activities, including , acupuncture, homeopathy, massage therapies and reflexology.

If you would like other types of work to be included in your policy, please specify these when you speak to an agent.

If you prefer to spread the cost of your annual premium, we offer a quick and easy direct debit scheme. When you choose to pay premiums in instalments, you will be paying under a Premium Finance plan.

We will give you full details of the finance provider, and the additional cost of finance, when we provide you with your payment plan quotation. This will include the total payable, the number of monthly instalments and the cost of each, as well as the representative APR.

These aspects are excluded from crystal healing insurance:

  • Any work for which you are not qualified and do not hold the relevant certificates for the treatments you carry out

  • Not adhering to the treatment liability conditions of the policy, or following the policy precautions and conditions relating to the treatments you carry out

  • Damage to any property held in trust or your custody

  • Liability arising out of the failure of a product to perform the function for which it was intended

  • Injury to any employee (unless you have employers liability insurance)

  • Theft not involving forcible and violent entry or exit

  • Sprinkler leakage (unless specifically extended)

  • Subsidence, ground heave or landslip (unless specifically extended)

  • Liability arising from any of the following:
    o Any medical treatment
    o Any banned or restricted herbal ingredients as defined by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), or banned or restricted herbal ingredients as defined by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA)
    o Any beauty therapies undertaken
    o Coronavirus including COVID-19 and SARS CoV-2or Communicable Disease
