Domiciliary care providers and their businesses are varied and cater to many different users –whether it’s for those under or over 65, people with learning disabilities, mental health conditions including dementia. We can provide insurance for a range of home care including:

The care industry faces a set of unique risks which our care policies are designed to cover, including medical malpractice insurance and protection against loss of registration. Our trained advisers are on hand to discuss your unique requirements.
Liability insurance for home carers
Our Domiciliary Care policy includes public liability cover for your legal liability arising from injury to third parties or damage to their property for £10 million for any one claim in the aggregate as standard. There is a £5 million inner limit for abuse claims.
We offer £2million cover for any one claim in the aggregate in respect of Professional Indemnity, however you have the flexibility to increase this to £5million. We also offer £10m cover for any one claim in the aggregate in respect of errors and omissions in the provision of Medical Services. An exclusion of this liability section is Communicable Disease, however if you do want this cover included, we are able to offer as an extra cost.
